This means that you can now search for any information related to your land while sitting at home. For your information, the maintenance of your land is done by the Revenue Department itself. To view the land records online, a portal called Bihar Bhumi/ Bhulekh has been created.

From this portal, you can easily view complete information related to your land in Bihar, such as the khasra-khatauni (cadastral maps and land ownership records), jamabandi (record of rights), land maps, name of the landowner, etc., while sitting at home. In this article today, we will guide you on how to view the khasra khatauni/jamabandi online through the Bihar Bhumi portal. Method to View Khasra Khatauni/Jamabandi

Step 1 : First, you will need to visit the official website of the Bihar Government’s Revenue and Land Reforms Department at biharbhumi.bihar.gov.in on your phone or laptop.

Step 2 : After this, the website’s home page will open in front of you. When you scroll down the home page, you will see numerous options of different types. From these, you need to click on the option ‘View Jamabandi Register’ to view your khasra-khatauni/jamabandi

Step 3 : Next, you will need to enter the name of your district and block/tehsil, and then click on the “Proceed” Button.

Step 4 : Then, select the name of your Revenue Circle (Halka) and Village (Mauja).

Step 5 : From the options displayed below, choose the method by which you want to view your jamabandi/khasra-khatauni (land records). In this article, we will guide you through the process of viewing the jamabandi using the khata (account) number. After filling in all the options, select the ‘Khata Number’ option, enter your khata number, correctly answer the security question in the security code option, and then click on “Search Option.”

Note: Apart from the khata (account) number, you can choose any one option according to your convenience to view your jamabandi/khasra-khatauni (land records).

Step 6 : Now, against the khata (account) number you provided, all the lands registered under that number will be displayed along with the names of the rayats (landowners) and the jamabandi (land record) numbers. From all the names listed, click on the eye icon next to the name for which you want to view the registered land details.

Step 7 : Clicking on the eye icon will open a PDF in front of you. This PDF will provide complete details of your land, including the khasra number, area, khata (account) number, jamabandi number, etc., in an elaborate manner.
