In the state of Chhattisgarh, the government has implemented a program called the Unorganized Workers Sewing Machine Assistance Scheme (Asangathit Karmakaar Silai Machine Sahayata Yojana). Under this scheme, sewing machines are provided to unorganized workers. The primary aim of this initiative is to encourage and support unorganized workers in their business endeavors, ultimately enabling them to become self-sufficient and financially independent.
Benefits of Free Silai Machine Yojana 2024 :
As a part of this program, sewing machines will be distributed annually to unorganized women workers in the state who have registered for the scheme.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Females engaged in construction work who are registered with the labor board/department.
- Women aged 18 to 50 years old who are involved in sewing, embroidering, or weaving (tailoring) clothes, either employed by someone or running their own business, and using this work to support themselves and their families within any district of the state.
- Women who have not previously received a sewing machine or an equivalent monetary value through any other state government scheme.
- Women who have not benefited from the Chief Minister’s Cycle Assistance Scheme operated by the labor board/department.

- Labor registration card
- Age certificate
- Photocopy of bank passbook
- Income certificate
How to Apply Online :
Step 1 : The applicant has to visit the official website of the state of Chhattisgarh.
Step 2 : Select the ‘Apply Now’ option under the Unorganized Worker Board section.
Step 3 : Now the applicant has to provide the following details :
- District
- Name of the Beneficiary
- Father’s/Husband’s name
- Pre-registration number
- New registration number
- And click on “Check the Details”
Step 4 : At this point, choose the name of the scheme you are applying for.
Step 5 : Fill out the online application form.
Step 6 : Upload the Required Documents :
- Labor registration card.
- Age certificate.
- Bank passbook
- Photocopy
- Income certificate.
Step 7 : Click on the “Submit” button.
Step 8 : Take note of the application number.

Step 1 : The applicant must visit the official labor website of the state of Chhattisgarh.
Step 2 : Select the “Check the application status” option under the Unorganized Worker Board section.
Step-3 : Select the name of the scheme.
Step 4 : Input the application number.
Step 5 : Click on the search button.
