Haryana government has launched a special scheme for those workers of the state who are financially weak and cannot take care of their wife and upcoming children. Under this scheme, the state government will provide financial assistance to those working families so that they can take proper care of their newborn baby and its mother. This financial assistance will be provided at the time of birth of the child so that health facilities are improved and good nutrition can be provided to them. Good education will be ensured for the children of working families and the infant mortality rate is likely to reduce. Only working families of Haryana will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.

Objective of Haryana Pitritva Labh Yojana 2024 :

There are laborers in the state who are unable to support their families and children due to their weak economic condition. As a result, they suffer from many diseases and sometimes even die due to the child and mother not getting proper nutrition.

Keeping these problems in mind, Haryana Government has started Haryana Pitritva Labh Yojana. Under this scheme, an assistance of Rs 15,000 will be provided for the care of the new born child and Rs 6,000 for nutritious food for the wife of the worker, totaling Rs 21,000. This will provide financial assistance to the labor families of the state and will ensure proper nutrition of the newborn and the mother.

Eligibility Criteria :

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana state.
• The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those workers who have a valid employment card.
• To avail the benefits of this scheme, one has to apply within 1 year of the birth of the children.
• If the applicant is already availing the benefit of any similar government assistance scheme then he will not be eligible for this scheme.
• If the child dies at the time of birth then the benefit of the scheme will not be available.
• Working families will get the benefit of the scheme up to a maximum of two children; However, if there are daughters, a maximum of three daughters can get the benefit.
• It is mandatory to have the birth certificate of the new born child at the time of application.

How to Apply Online :

Step 1 : First of all you have to go to the official website of Saral Haryana is saralharyana.gov.in/.

Step 2 : Now the home page of the website will open in front of you.

Step 3 : Login to the portal by entering your User ID & Password on the home page.

Step 4 : After logging in to the portal, search by writing Paternity in the search box.

Step 5 : Now click on Paternity Benefit Scheme.

Step 6 : Now a new page will open in front of you.

Step 7 : Now you have to enter the family identity card number of the registered worker.

Step 8 : Now the Application Form will appear in front of you.

Step 9 : Now you have to enter the required information in the application form.

Step 10 : Then you will have to upload the necessary documents.

Step 11 : Finally you have to click on Submit option.
