Uttar Pradesh government has launched a wonderful scheme for the welfare of girls, named Uttar Pradesh Bhagya Lakshmi Yojana. Under this scheme, the government will not only provide financial assistance to the daughter and her mother when the daughters are born, but will also provide financial assistance when the daughter enters various classes for studies. Moreover, when the girl turns 21, the government will provide a certain amount of financial assistance for her Marriage. Benefits of Bhagya Lakshmi Yojana 2024 :

Uttar Pradesh government will give Rs 50,000 at the time of birth of a girl child under Bhagya Laxmi Yojana. On maturity at the age of 21 years, an assistance of Rs 2 lakh will be provided. At the time of the birth of a daughter, the mother will be given financial assistance of Rs 5,100. So that the mother will be able to give proper food to her child. Apart from this, the government will give Rs 23,000 for the daughter’s education. The loan will be given in several installments. Which will be sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary. In which the daughter will get Rs 3,000 if she reaches sixth, Rs 5,000 if she reaches eighth, Rs 7,000 if she reaches tenth and Rs 8,000 if she reaches 12th class.

Eligibility Criteria :

• To avail the benefits of Bhagya Lakshmi Yojana, the applicant must be a native of Uttar Pradesh state.
• Only daughters of poor families of the state will be eligible for this scheme.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed two lakhs.
• To apply under this, birth certificate of the newborn child is necessary.
• Girls enrolled in the scheme cannot marry before the age of 18.
• Two children in a family will get benefit from Bhagya Lakshmi Scheme.
• It is mandatory for the applicant girl to have a bank account linked to Aadhaar Card.

How to Apply Online :

Step 1 : First you have to go to the official website of Women and Child Development Department of Uttar Pradesh Government.

Step 2 : After that you will have to click on the scheme option and click on Bhagya Lakshmi Yojana.

Step 3 : As soon as you click, the application form will open in front of you.

Step 4 : Now you will need to download the application form and take its print out.

Step 5 : After this you will have to fill the information asked in the application form.

Step 6 : The required documents will also have to be attached.

Step 7 : Now you will have to go to Anganwadi Center or Women and Child Development Office and fill this application form.

Step 8 : After this, your documents and application form will be scrutinized.

Step 9 : After investigation, you will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
